| Goal |
To enable people with physically handicapped to take part in the normal life of the community and restore mobility, dignity and self-sufficient, so that disabled persons, who are currently excluded from Congolese community can participate as equal member of the community. In order way to answer their basic needs and enable them to lead a dignified life. |
| Objectives |
Through its various projects, the SDMF Programme aims to: • Ease poverty in under developed countries such as D. R, Congo by furnishing goods, foods, medicines and other basic elements that are required to survive. • Increase the economic self sufficiency and reduce the dependency of persons with handicapped through the implementation of income generating activities. • Endeavour to document health changes in the affected area and reduce the level of illiteracy among adults through health education, literacy classes & IT project. • Organise fundraising festivals in America & Europe on Arts and Music (gospel) to give the public an increase awareness of the achievement of those people with disability. • By raising monies, the foundation is able to assist both elderly and disable people and their families by building churches, rehabilitation clinics, schools, rural referral centre and training facilities include by providing mobility equipments & materials to set them free. • With donated fund raised, we are able to run different projects in rural & urban areas, to pay for the shipment of goods to the third world countries which enabled physically handicapped persons to live a dignified life within their community. |
