ABOUT MBO

Hi,

My name is MBO. I am almost 25 years old female and live in D. R .CONGO / KINSHASA – AFRIKA - . I was born with partial anomaly without full legs and arms. I have ever stand up in normal position, only lay down on the floor because of lacks of facilities. All my years, it has been very difficult without a proper care, living in squashed conditions.

I was diagnosed with cancer almost two years ago, with one major surgery before they can fit me with an artificial limbs or braces and other miscellaneous medical problems. Therefore I am appealing to your generosity, to support me in my endeavor, by contributing to this cause, as you see fit.
I have always gotten lots of questions about my legs and arms. I guess I always will. But nobody has told me about my pass because my mother died when I was two.  I don’t hide my leg or arm, show it off; it’s just there. It is more noticeable now, but it’s also lighter. Your generous contribution will help AFRIKA PHYSICAL HANDICAPPED INITIATIVE DEVELOPMENT to arrange for my traveling to an established American Hospital to cure my cancer and undergo a surgery before they can fit me with artificial limbs or braces and provide me wheelchairs and physiotherapy.

This is one of the hardest requests I have ever made in my life asking for help from complete strangers if anyone has it in there heart won't you please help make a difference.

I am who I am. People says that God made me this way for a reason and that for sure that I have some higher purpose to fulfill. I am not sure about that, but I need gain mobility, dignity and self-sufficiency, so I can lead full and productive lives as part of the community.

APHID COMMENTS

In poor and war-ravaged country like D R Congo, life with disability usually means life without education, employment, dignity or hope for the future. Most disabled adults are unable to work and support their families. Seen as a burden, many disabled men, women and children live as outcasts, begging on the streets for survival.

She is in dire need of health care, mobility and financial support and we are working to achieve further funding to help with her case.
PLEASE HELP!
